Garden Blueprints is a Garden Design and Planting business creating gardens people love to be in across Leicestershire, Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire.
Since our beginnings in 2006, we’ve created hundreds of gardens that are still giving people pleasure and space to enjoy.
Led by Joanne Kennedy, an RHS Gold medal winning Garden and Landscape Designer and passionate plantswoman, our network of trusted contractors spans the three counties, meaning that whatever expertise is needed to create your dream garden we can find it.
About Jo
Jo passed her HNC in Garden Design with Distinction at Pershore College of Horticulture in June 2006.
In 2016 Jo won an RHS Gold Medal and Best BIooming Border in the Tatton Park Flower Show.
Jo keeps up to date with emerging trends (try and stop her!) by visiting gardens and reading voraciously about plants and gardens. Jo undertakes regular professional training to ensure that her skills always include the latest techniques. Jo is a pre-registered member of the Society of Garden Designers, the UK registered body of Accredited Garden Designers).
She has recently acquired full Consultant membership of the Gardener’s Guild who are a national trade network for qualified gardeners.

Jo is also a member of the RHS – Royal Horticultural Society which is the UK’s gardening charity helping people and plants to grow to nurture a healthier world.
Joanne supports Perennial which is the UK’s charity supporting everyone in the Horticultural Industry if challenges come their way. It supports physical and mental injuries along with financial support.
