Brief

The clients wanted to be able to make better use of the available space in their garden. It had a large mound of gravel which gave support to an old wall which needed to be preserved. This left only a small amount of garden for their use.

Designer’s solution

So as not to disturb the foundations of the existing boundary wall, a series of decked terraces were built, which gave the clients several sitting areas and covered up the unsightly mound of gravel and boulders that had to be retained.  The clients opted for an artificial lawn. Low maintenance planting completed the new look.

This garden won a “Highly Commended” in the Bradstone Installers Awards 2016. The garden was built by PB Landscapes.
