Welcome to wow! These clients had bought a new build property which came with a neat square blank canvas of a garden.
Brick garage walls and tall fences on either side and at the back provided some elements of structure and a high degree of privacy.

The clients wanted to create a low maintenance tropical style garden with a powerful wow factor, that focused on relaxation and enjoyment.
Tropical means sunshine, palms and outdoor dining, so these were the elements we started with. Jo created three separate seating areas, to catch the sun at different times of the day.

Curves run throughout the garden, connecting paving, pebbles and paths to the stunning porcelain paving used in the south east facing seating area. Porcelain paving is non-porous, which means lovely low maintenance as well as a stunning aesthetic. A central lawn provides a welcoming green oasis, without needing too much maintenance.
Architectural planting such as cordylines, chamerops humilis (chusan palm), Dicksonia antarctica (tree ferns) and frost tender cycas revoluta give height and pops of cool green against the grey and timber patterned porcelains used in the hard landscaping.
